Rizo is in her third season as an assistant coach with the Cowgirl soccer program.
She came to Hardin-Simmons after a year coaching at Episcopal High School in Houston. She was also a volunteer assistant with the Houston Christian program last year.
Collegiately, Rizo played at Houston Christian from 2018-2022 and was a four-year team captain. She also set the HCU career record for most games played.
She is originally from San Antonio, where she went to Johnson High School.
Rizo graduated with a degree in sports management from HCU and she added a MBA with an emphasis in marketing in May of 2023.
