NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — Hardin-Simmons was picked to finish tied for second in the American Southwest Conference baseball preseason poll, as voted on by the league's head coaches and sports information directors, released Friday by the ASC office.
The Cowboys earned 20 points in the poll, matching Mary Hardin-Baylor for the number two spot. East Texas Baptist finished first with 30 points, and Howard Payne ended with ten.
HSU finished the 2025 season with an 8-8 mark in ASC play and made it to the semifinals of the ASC tournament. The Cowboys return several key contributors heading into the 2026 campaign.
